Phil Robertson is a self-confessed geek and a to-the-bone Apple fan boy. He now prefers to think of himself as an ex-sailor, having sailed around the world in 2009. His career has been focused in financial services, spanning a whole range from roles serving customers in branches through to senior commercial management roles. Phil joined Tesco Bank in 2010 and was jointly responsible for writing the mortgage VoP and co-ordinating the FSA’s approval of the VoP enabling the Bank to sell mortgages. Subsequently, Phil worked on the Digital Strategy for the bank, after which he moved on to lead the Mobile Banking programme through to it’s successful delivery in June 2014. His passion however, has always been in connecting processes and technology to find those small tweaks and innovations to improve a process or experience to the benefit of users and business.
