Grant joined Tesco Bank as Head of Current Accounts before moving into the digital space in 2012. He was appointed Digital Director in October 2012. Previously Grant was with RBS for 16 years and held a number of senior roles with responsibility for Retail Finance, Credit Cards, Loans, Insurance and Savings. Latterly joining the Executive of Everyday Banking in RBS UK Retail with responsibility for transforming the digital capabilities and commercial performance of the bank's core transactional products. In his early career he spent four years in advertising with Ogilvy & Mather before moving to the retail sector working for C&A and Texaco, gaining international experience in North America and Central Europe.

 

My first job was... a shoe box "breaker" at C&A

The last place I visited on holiday was... Mauritius

My best moment at Tesco so far was.... Seeing the early versions of the mobile banking app in the hands of customers

Over 90% of customers engage with us either online or on their mobile devices, so making sure our digital services are as simple and easy to use as possible is massively important. For that reason, we spend a lot of time listening to customers to understand how they use our services, and we’re always working on improvements to reflect their feedback.
